The next edition of our acclaimed Spotlight Night series will knock it out of the park as we take you behind the scenes of our exciting new production of the musical comedy classic Damn Yankees.

Featuring musical performances by some of Seattle’s best singers and the cast of Damn Yankees, we will explore the stories that inspired the hit musical, including the legend of Faust. The night will also take us through the amazing careers of Damn Yankees scriptwriter George Abbott and songwriters Richard Adler and Jerry Ross.

The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Spotlight Night is entertaining, informative and free. This incredibly popular series gives you a behind-the-scenes look at our upcoming show.

The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Executive Producer and Artistic Director, David Armstrong, leads guest speakers and performers through an intriguing mix of song, dance, interviews, video clips, and more. Get acquainted with the show’s creative team and cast, and learn about the technical wizardry involved. Discover the history and significance of a show, and the social issues surrounding it. Spotlight Night will be sure to spark your interest in future performances, while enriching your knowledge of American musical theater.
