Connie Davis – Forever a Passionate Mariners Fan

This past August, the RBI Club lost one of our own. Connie Davis passed on August 30, 2012.

An avid Mariners fan, she’s been watching them play since the first pitch in the Kingdom on April 6, 1977. Even before the Mariners came to town, Connie began buying season tickets to the Seattle Pilots. Over the years her love of baseball continued to grow and as the Mariners moved to Safeco Field, so did Connie.

From the Terrace level, she cheered the boys on. And every month, as the RBI Club gathered for our luncheons, Connie came ready to hear from the baseball gurus.

As the club begins our 2013 season of events, Connie will be missed.

Connie had five children; MG (Liz) Union, WA; Karen Jo (died at birth); Jim (Pam) Myrtle Creek, OR; Bob, Auburn, WA; and Sandee Head (Bill) Gig Harbor, WA. She had five grandchildren (Jeff, Cherie’, Camden, Kelsie, and Colby) and six great-grandchildren (Kyle, Ashleigh, Erynn, Conner, Andrew, and Jordan).

In honor of her mother’s memory, Sandee plans to join the RBI Club and keep Connie’s seats. We look forward to seeing Connie’s passionate baseball spirit live on in the club’s commitment to Real Baseball Involvement.
