RBI Club at the Aquasox Game

Sunday, July 7 a group of RBI Club members and their families gathered at the Everett Memorial Stadium to watch the Everett AquaSox take on the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. Prior to the game, the group enjoyed an exclusive all-you-can-eat BBQ with tasty treats including ribs, chicken, corn on the cob and baked beans.

The AquaSox are a Mariners affiliate, so our guests were able to see future prospects live and in person. A few of them even dropped by the pre-game BBQ for a meet-and-greet, autograph signing and picture taking session. The draftees included:

Justin Seager – He hit his first home run since joining the AquaSox the night before, Saturday, July 8

Aaron Brooks – He’s a local boy from Mount Lake Terrace

Tyler Olsen – He’s a stud fresh out of Spokane.

The sun was shining. The AquaSox won. It was one of the best events we’ve ever had.

Additionally, each RBI Club guest received a Mike Zunino bobblehead souvenir.

Kathy Hope, wife of RBI Club board member Dave Hope, can frequently be found pitching in at RBI Club events. She also dedicates much of her free time to non-profit organizations such as the Edgar Martinez Foundation and I Love Baseball. Thank you Kathy. You’re help is invaluable.

Additional comments from the event:

Honestly ranks as one of my very favorite RBI Club events ever!!! BBQ food was better than good, it was like going to the game with a whole group of friends and minor league ball is so up close and personal. A huge thank you to all who put this together. – Lorri Ericson, RBI Club Member
