Media Day, Plus MLB Umpire Mike Muchlinski 

The RBI Club’s February 3rd Luncheon will feature an all-star media cast including: TV game day host, Brad Adam; post game field reporter, Shannon Drayer; Seattle Times baseball writer, Larry Stone; MLB Mariners writer, Greg Johns; and Radio Broadcast voice of the Mariners, Rick Rizzs.  Also joining members and guests is Major League Baseball umpire Mike Muchlinski.

M's GM Jack Zduriencik visit was a great time!

March 9th Luncheon with Edgar Martinez 

Wednesday, March 9, the RBI Club was excited to welcome Edgar as our guest speaker for the March 2011 Luncheon. More than 80 people were in attendance. Edgar shared his DH rituals for between at bats. He explained the origin of his work ethic and the secret behind his positive thinking. Wondering what tools he used to practice as a young boy? Try rocks, a broom handle, and baby powder sprinkled across the floor to practice sliding. “My grandma wasn’t very happy about (the baby powder),” Edgar said with a grin. Click here for story.

Mariners RBI Club (Real Baseball Involvement) is a volunteer organization established in 1980, RBI Club members function as goodwill ambassadors for the Seattle Mariners and for Major League Baseball (and the Baseball Club of Seattle). This commitment includes assisting the Seattle Mariners by involving the RBI Club in local community/charity activities, which will positively impact public perception of the M's and will help them achieve their objectives.
